Find A Solution Proposal
Socratic Seminar Relection
In my opinion this socratic seminar went much better than the last one. This seminar was more of a discussion in which everyone could be herd and had an equal opportunity to present their cases. Although the first socratic seminar we did started out faster I felt like once the class started getting comfortable stating their opinions and facts outside of their paper it went very smooth. I was happy to see that there wasn't a huge and long presentation given that took up the whole seminar like last time. Humans aren't a ctually the whole problem with global warming. The sun heating up is another big deal when it comes to global warming. The sun still is only a small percentage compared to that of humans included in global warming. There is evidence on the nasa website www.climate.nasa.gov. As a society we can limit the use of factories causing pollution. Also we need to not litter as much as we do because it all goes to thee ocean causing animals and habitats there to get messed up and decompose and die off. As individuals we can do community service to help take out invasive species such as iceplant or litter. This seminar was very helpful in my growth of knowledge with global warming and climate change.
Terrarium Proposal
1st week: There wasn't much change to the terrarium this week due to the little time the plants have had to grow. The worm we put it has explored most of the terrarium because of its small size. We need to water more often as we are only doing it every other day. Hopefully by next week these plants will all be growing well.
2nd week: We have stepped up the watering this week and it has made a huge difference. The plants roots are extending and most likely getting used to their new environment. The water has been key for the worm too as it is moving more frequently and helping out the plants in big way.
3rd week: The plants have continued to grow and the worm is very very happy. There are many marking of the worm moving causing the plants to grow a ton.
4th week: This week will be the last of this project sadly. The plants in the terrarium have grown to a huge size where they are almost out of the terrarium. We might have to take out the worm if the plants keep growing like this

Video Reflection
For this video project we decided to focus on senior hill as our problem. The problem on senior hill at san marin is that the chalk is harming all the animals that live up there. There is so much chalk on the hill that the animals have had their homes stripped away from them due to the chalk that covers their burrows. We had to make a video for this project on the hill. Below is that video. My group of paige parker and I worked very hard on this video to make it the way it is. 2 things I did well with this video project were making the video for my group and also i worked well with my other group mates. 2 Things I could do better were to make better effects and another thing would be to make sure the video would be a little more exciting and less bland. From this project I learned that all plant and animal life is important. This is very important to me because we live in such a beautiful area with many plants and animals that are important to society. I also learned no matter how much I hate my sisters cats I still need to be able to treat them kindly.

CCD Reflection
For this project my group and I studied the colony collapse of the honey bees in the united states of America. Some factors that we found affect colony collapse were the farmers and other humans destroying environments and making areas unsuitable for these amazing bees. The bees that we looked at were from California and from South Dakota. The bees in South Dakota were increasing and stabilizing while the bees in California were going down and destabilizing. While doing this project we learned that curve fits are a great way to represents lots of data as it gives you sort of a medium or middle ground. We learned that CCD is a huge thing in our world today and us humans contribute to a lot of it. We humans need to start doing everything we can to stop causing the colonies of all animals from collapsing.
