Building a band
Reflection
For this project we built our own instruments suing different supplies including pvc pipe, to bamboo, and metal pipe. My group with Arno Jacob and Angus decided to create 3 instruments. They were a pan flute, a didly-bow, and chimes. The pan flute was made out of bamboo. The didly-bow was made out of fishing line, a wooden box, and a broomstick. Finally the chimes were made out of metal pipe, string, and wood.
Two high of this project were hard work and working together. In this project everyone worked pretty hard to get their instruments done. When you either didn't have the supplies for your instrument or you finished it we helped each other on their instrument. The instruments we made were all a group effort rather than one person doing the whole thing and it was good for us to work hard together.
Two lows of this project were staying on task and time management. These two things seem to pop up a lot for the lows. Our group needed to stay on task more at the beginning when we didn't have all the supplies we would be on our phones or talking off topic. We need to have self control where we can stay on task in times where it seems like there is nothing to do. Time management seems to get a little better with each project but still seems to be an issue. The reason why we had time management issues is we kinda lolly gagged our way through the first couple of days thinking we had all the time in the world when in reality we needed to work so we weren't scrambling at the end. All in all i think that this was one of the most successful projects.
